On Mission with Peter: Apostolicity at the Heart of the Identity of Ecclesial Movements
On June 22, 2023, President Fr. Jacob Nampudakam SAC participated in the annual meeting organized by the Dicastery for Laity, Family, & Life with Moderators of Associations of the Faithful, Ecclesial Movements, and New Communities. The meeting’s theme was On Mission with Peter: Apostolicity at the Heart of the Identity of Ecclesial Movements. This signifies walking with the Universal Church, as “working with the Pope to bring the Gospel to all” - expresses Prefect Cardinal Kevin Farrell - “is the specific role of movements.”
Therefore, the Union’s openness and association with the Dicastery’s initiatives is indispensable. As such, Fr. Jacob has made a fraternal appeal to all members of the Union, aimed to renew our apostolic drive and missionary energy in accordance with the Holy See.
